The Third Gulf Conference and Exhibition for Cybersecurity Challenges awards Huawei the “Best Cybersecurity Assurance” award

The third Gulf Conference and Exhibition on Cybersecurity Challenges, which was held in Kuwait, awarded Huawei the “Best Cybersecurity Assurance” award for providing innovative solutions that contribute to protecting customers from cyber risks. This comes in light of Huawei’s success in obtaining more than 70 international certificates in the field of cybersecurity, which provides its customers with globally recognized high-level security guarantees that rise to the highest international standards agreed upon in the communications and information technology industry.

The event was organized over two days under the auspices of the Central Agency for Information Technology and the Communications and Information Technology Regulatory Authority, with the participation of the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Defense in Kuwait, and the presence of experts and high-level representatives from leading institutions in the country, led by the Commander of the Signal Corps, Major General Engineer Muhammad Uqla Al-Enezi, representing the Chief of Staff. General of the Army, Dr. Ammar Al-Husseini, Deputy Director of the Central Agency for Information Technology in Kuwait, and Layali Al-Mansoori, representative of the Communications and Information Technology Regulatory Authority, along with a number of diplomats, industry experts and analysts. Topics discussed at the conference included emerging use cases of artificial intelligence, digital transformation, cyberattacks, smart cities, cyber integration of critical IT infrastructure, operational technologies, and the Internet of Things.
