The much-awaited Lebanese movie will be released at the end of April 2022 Broken Keys “Breaking Keys,” directed by Jimmy Keyrouz, in all cinemas. The movie is produced by Films Production Ezekiel – She presented us with the movie “The Case of 23” by director Ziad Douiri in 2017, which at that time became the first Lebanese film ever to be nominated for an Academy Award.

The work includes a group of Lebanese stars such as Tarek Yaqoub (pianist), Adel Karam, Rola Basmati, Mounir Maasri, Gabriel Yammine, Badi’ Abu Shakra, Saeed Sarhan, Sarah Abi Kanaan, Julian Farhat, Fadi Abi Samra, Hassan Murad, Laila Kamary, Michel Adbashi, and others. The film was designed by the Lebanese international creator, Gabriel Yared, who is the winner of an Oscar, two Golden Globes, and many others.

It is noteworthy that the film was officially selected at the Cannes Film Festival in 2020, and it also won many audience awards at international festivals.

“The film aims to spread hope where it is needed most,” says director Jimmy Keyrouz. “It’s a reminder that life is not about waiting for the storm to calm down, it’s about learning how to dance in the rain,” adds Jamie.
